William Grant’s Rare Old 12 Year Old is a classic blended Scotch whisky produced by William Grant & Sons. The blend is composed of malt whiskies from the Glenfiddich and Balvenie distilleries and grain whiskies from the Girvan distillery. The whisky is aged for 12 years in oak casks before being bottled. It has a sweet and fruity aroma with hints of honey, vanilla and oak. The flavor is smooth with notes of dried fruit and honey. The finish is long and lingering with hints of smoky oak. This whisky is best enjoyed neat or with a splash of water.
