Description
Girardin, based in Meursault, has made a ripe, fruity red Burgundy that reflects the generous red fruits of the vintage. It is juicy, soft and rounded, with attractive acidity and light tannins.
Ripe but restrained blackberry and cherry are accented by whispers of smoke, earth and cut mineral in this sturdy, medium-bodied red. It’s briskly concentrated on the palate and finishes with fine, lingering tannins.
