100% Sangiovese Rosato. We jokingly call this wine Tuscan Beach Rosé, as it is sourced from vines grown in sandy soils rich in calcium deposits and oyster fossils. It is true that Tuscany was once underwater, covered with lakes and its coastal area was much larger than it is now. As far as the wine, this is a delicious, salty, bright cherry-flavored rosé from a place you might not expect. Pair with pork cutlets, drizzled with lemon, and topped with fresh arugula.
