Description
The Anderson Valley is best known for Pinot Noir made in a range of styles from delicate and floral to powerful and concentrated. Chardonnay also shines here, and both varieties are often utilized for the production of some of California’s best traditional method sparkling wines.
Clear, medium-ruby color. Fragrant aromas, medium intensity, primary & secondary. Notes throughout of primary fig & black cherry, rose hips, along with secondary clove and damp earth. Full ripeness on the palate, with medium+ acid and medium(-) tannin. Rich density on the mid-palate, well balanced, with mostly primary fruit along with some secondary depth. Fine silky tannins. Dry mouthwatering finish with good overall length.
