Crafted using the first new Jack Daniel’s mash bill in over a century, Jack Daniel’s Rested Rye Whiskey is derived from 70% rye, 18% corn, and 12% malted barley. Fermented and charcoal-filtered, Rested Rye is then matured in American oak casks for a minimum of 2 years. The nose offers sugary notes of sweet cottage cheese, chocolate, smoke, aged tobacco, and old-fashioned candies. The tongue is bathed in cherry pie filling, cordial, hints of cola candies, vanilla, and caramel seasoned with cloves and black pepper. Released as a limited edition offering and subsequently extremely rare – this uniquely crafted rye is bottled at 40% ABV and is a wonderful introduction to the classic flavors and nuanced aging that Jack Daniel’s is known for.…
