The Rum “Last Ward” is a vintage rum form Barbados, triple distilled with pot still by Frank Ward of the Mount Gay distillery, just before its property change. After an aging for 10 years in ex-Bourbon casks it expresses itself with power and precision: at nose perfumes of fruits, vanilla and sweet spices; on the palate it is smooth, warm and very complex

Palate: Warm, round, full-bodied and complex.
Finish: Long persistence.
Distillery Information
Located at the easternmost island of the West Indies. The oldest surviving deed for the company is from 1703, making Mount Gay Rum the world’s oldest commercial rum distillery. The current majority shareholder of Mount Gay Distilleries since 1989 is Rémy Cointreau.
