GUASCA is a spirit made from indigenous South American fruit and produced in the tiny village of Guasca, just outside Bogota. Locally grown by small scale farmers, the fruit is mashed and fermented slowly. Fermentation takes up to a month before a single distillation, extracting only the purest part of the spirit. No sugar or other additives are used to achieve the incredible aromas of this unique product, just pure delicious spirit. Uchuva is similar to a gooseberry. It’s tart and sweet. The resulting spirit is racy with luscious fruit and a great tangy finish.
