Don Ciccio & Figli C3 Carciofo Artichoke Liqueur Tasting Notes
Nose: A bright nose showcases syrupy dates, grapefruit peel, sarsaparilla and cola, with an herbal bouquet of rosemary and thyme.
Palate: The palate, at first bracingly bitter, quickly gives way to sweetness with raisins, blackberries, and a touch of vanilla.
Finish: The finish is short, clean, and bitter.

“In 1951, my grandfather Francesco Amodeo, the ‘Don Ciccio’ we honor in our name, brings our liqueurs back to life. A mechanic by wartime necessity, but with artisanal liqueur-making running in his blood. He joins forces with my maternal grandfather Giovanni Porpora who is a falegname – a carpenter of exquisite skill.”
