This rather stylish decanter is full of delicious Mauritian rum from Charamel! Distilled from cane juice, a marriage of both pot and column still rhum agricole, the spirit was initially aged for six years in French oak. Before bottling, it spent another two years maturing in casks which previously held Cognac, hence the name! Among the spice and vanilla, there’s a whole lot of dried fruit and stone fruit influence in there too.

Nose: Nose is complex yet not overwhelming.
Palate: This is extremely rich and very balanced in flavour.
Finish: The finish is surprisingly long and warming.
