Carta Vieja Añejo shows a refined and exceptionally soft character. It is the perfect example of blending, an art perfected by our Master Ronero, selecting the best vintage reserves, to mix them and achieve the ideal balance; a ripe rum of mahogany color, with an intense and complex body, with balance, roundness and permanence.

Nose: Sweet aroma opens the door to tobacco.
Palate: black licorice, cocoa, caramel and slight orange flavor.
Finish: Long and spicy finish.
Distillery Information
Carta Vieja is located Boquete Panama, near the town of Boqueron. The process of making both rum and Seco at Carta Vieja starts in the same way. It all starts with sugar cane, this cane field surrounds the distillery. Sugar cane juice is fermented to make Seco and molasses from the cane is fermented to make Rum.
