Online discussion boards were abuzz with high praise for Desaunay-Bissey’s Beaumont wines, with one critic even calling Bruno’s Beaux-Monts “a perfect (non-Leroy) Vosne Romanee Beaux Monts…[one that] begs to be drunk and savored.” Notably, their Cellar Tracker community gave their 2015 vintage a rating of 94 points, the highest among all Beaumont producers. William Kelley has yet to review this standout vintage, but it is worth noting that their 2018 vintage showcases a vibrant ruby color and striking aromatics of red fruits, such as fraises des bois and wild strawberry, with a touch of spice and cinnamon.
