Through his passion for travel, he discovered the world and met Elisabeth Bowen, an extraordinary woman with a passion for nature and wildlife, who captivated him with her boldness and spirit of freedom. For her, he composed a particularly elegant brand of cognac that still bears her name today.

Bowen’s Spirits is named for founder Wade Bowen, who claims to have become interested in the whiskey craft from a fifth-generation moonshiner by the name of “Bud.”
