Matured in a single refill hogshead for 39 years, Benromach 1977 is a smooth and sweet single malt with an elegant, refined character. The palate holds notes of ripe bananas, lively passion fruit and citrus, with dried tobacco and toasted oak leading to a light, fresh menthol finish. Only 225 bottles have been released worldwide.

Nose: A delightfully complex spicy and perfumed nose.
Palate: The taste almost is really just a short beginning that crescendos and transitions extremely smoothly into the finish.

Distillery Information
Benromach is a Speyside distillery founded by Duncan McCallum and F.W. Brickman in 1898 and currently owned and run by Gordon and Macphail of Elgin. It is situated near Forres in Morayshire and is fed with spring water from the Chapelton Springs in the Romach Hills beside.
