Located in the cool, far south-eastern foothills, deeply affected by San Pablo Bay. Situated on a fiercely steep, rocky, northwest facing slope.Hand-harvested at first light, 10/13; cluster sorted, fully destemmed, hand-sorted berry-by-berry, fully crushed.
Continuing on 2015’s winning formula, again we opted for a strict barrel-selection to create 2016’s “Borrowed Jewels” bottling. A study in indulgence and charm, red and black fruits dominate the palate, as textures fill-in every nook and cranny. Never over the top, but always at the red-line.
